    Description

    Rare GE 3CX1000A7 (8283) Amateur Radio RF Broadcast Tube. Heater, Grid All Test OK. Made In The USA.
    Per the spec sheet shown in the image provided, there are NO shorts from the grid (3rd socket plate) to heater, cathode or anode.  There IS continuity between the 1st level and 2nd level (middle) plate "heater".
    We strongly advise this tube is run on heater voltage only (high voltage anode disconnected) for at least 12 hours before applying high voltage to "getter" the tube.  Since there is no way to know how you will operate this tube it is being sold "as is, for parts only".
    This GE 3CX1000A7 will be well packed and shipped promptly, vertically in a cushioned tube box.
