Eimac 5CX1500A, SK-840A, SK-806. (Rebuilt, Good, Used)

I'm offering here a USED Eimac 5CX1500A. "AS IS" (Enconco rebuilt)
It was actually new but does have around <500 hours...
Socket and chimney are included. (also listed on Ebay)
The tube was "Shop Stock"
The socket was removed from one of my decommissioned 25KW FM Transmitters.
The transmitter made in excess of 27kw, and the 5cx1500 drove the cathode of the 3cx15000 (new), and grid current was over 1.00 amp!
The required amount of power to drive the tube is/was in excess of 2600 watts!
In order to do so, the driver tube (5cx1500) had to be in excellent condition!!! Otherwise I would not have been able to get the 27kw power output.
It was tested for an extensive amount of time...I ran the xmitter well over a week at full power, with no issues.
I was going to keep the tube for a home brew AM xmitter, but being that I've been off the grid for ten years, high powered xmiters are no longer in the cards...
It sucks, but I have plenty of acreage and towers, so antenna's are the way to go!
B.T.W I do have more of these tubes and sockets, as I did have a few 25kw FM's.
These tubes were also use in the Collins FM 2.5Kw xmitters, and as such was also tested in this box..
Please note that I do have on hand, large assortment of parts, sockets, filament transformers, blowers, vacuum capacitors, etc. etc.
Just ask, and if I have it, then I will post it on Ebay for you..
