Eimac 4CX1500A (Original, Used)

I'm offering here USED 4CX1500A. "AS IS"
Ten on hand.
I do have sockets and chimneys, but are not included.
These tubes were used in my Harris MW50, 50kw AM transmitters.
One in the RF driver stage for the 4CX35000c and one in the modulator stage..(PDM)
I've sold some over the last couple of years with no complaints.
These two tubes were tested some time ago in the actual transmitter, that produced 55,000 watts of carrier at >125% peak modulation!.
In order to do so, the tubes would of course be up to the task.
They were capable of driving the 4CX35000 grid in excess of .340 amps...
Please take note that these tubes as drivers for this transmitter only require to produce around 125-250 watts of power, which is a fraction of there capabilities.
Hence they last a long time and are not pushed to there limits. Mater of fact the plate voltage is around 1200-1500 vdc, if memory serves me right.
So they should be VERY GOOD!
I hate to part with these, but since I'm off grid, I do not have any use for high powered equipment.
By the way I do have more of these on hand...
I kept these for back up and for testing.
You may get some use out of it, but please note that I cannot grantee 100% power output!
A few of these have been sold over the last couple of years, and I have not received any complaints.
Perfect for testing a new amplifier, as to not damage your "NEW" tube while testing and final tuning, or as a back up.

Unfortunately I no longer have equipment to conduct any testing of the tubes in my possession.
Untested at time of listing.
High powered tubes are subject to damage either by improper use or abuse by the end user,
or damages incurred while in transit. Although shipping insurance is included, it only covers loss...
