  • Condition: This pair of 4X150A tubes was used in a first generation Collins KWS-1. The xmtr was employed daily on Navy MARS nets by an avid MARS member. Never one to wait until something failed, he regularly changed his PA tubes early to prevent any downtime. We do not know how many hours they have on them but we believe they are still viable and if your xmtr is one that is lightly used, these should work for you. We have not retested them but we guarantee they will fire up. Sold strictly as is. Price reduced to compensate.

    For Sale:
    This pair of 4X150A tubes was used in a first generation Collins KWS-1 to produce 1000 watts of power.  The xmtr using these was employed about an hour daily on Navy MARS nets by an avid MARS member to check in.  Never one to wait until something failed, he regularly changed his PA tubes early to prevent any downtime.  We do not know how many hours they have on them but we believe they are still useable and if your xmtr is one that is only occasionally used, these might work for you.  We have not retested them and have no facilities to test them.
    The complete KWS-1 assembly which was pulled for the Collins 4CX250B upgrade is offered in another listing.  We will combine shipping if you would like to buy both.
